    The Cos

    Gender: Male
    Location: Louisville
    Relationship: Married
    Orientation: Straight
    Children: Proud Parent
    # of Kids: 1
    Height: 5'10"
    Ethnicity: White / Caucasian
Music: I enjoy a wide variety of music but my top choice would have to be AC/DC. How can you not rock your head when one of their songs come on? I have requested that "We Salute You" and "Ride On" are to be played at my funeral (even if I'm 90).

I also think AudioSlave is one of the best groups out right now. And yes, I DO like rap and country.
Movies: Lord of the Rings probably impressed me the most. Seeing it on your home tv can't compare to watching it at the movies. Plus seeing it with my Dad each year added a little extra. Car/Action movies like: Vanishing Point (original), Gone in 60 seconds (original), Pulp Fiction, and anything that Harrison Ford, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Bruce Willis and Denzel Washington are in (you know it'll be decent if one of them are in it).
TV: Don't watch much since most are weekly shows. PBA bowling for sure, some NASCAR, Cable news (I'm somewhat of a news junkie and the fact that you can turn it on at anytime).
Books: They still make those? Does Bowler's Journal count?
Likes: PC's (I'm somewhat of a computer geek), the smell of fresh cut grass (means winter's over), watching my son grow up. Rolling the ball for your twelfth strike, then quickly turning around before it hits the pins to watch the crowds reaction when they all fall down....priceless! Seriously, that split second when the ball enters the pocket everyone looks like they've been frozen with a blank look on their faces, then BAM, it looks like you held up a remote and hit the play button. You actually can put a little joy on peoples faces when you roll a 300, especially if they've never seen one personally. Watch your first of course but sometime after...try watching your fellow bowlers (just don't forget to follow through with your shot). You'll be glad you did!
Dislikes: Being cold, getting beat in brackets by an 80yr old, having an 80yr old laugh at me for beating me in brackets, bowling bad, corner pins, people who spill their drinks in the bowling area. Politician's are at the top of my list. And watching my son grow up (he's growing way too fast).
Hobbies: Bowling of course. And maintaining KYANABOWL.com.
Vices: Bowling keeps coming up. Seriously people...I'm addicted! Don't try to fix me though.
Heroes: You could sit George Bush, Dale Earnhardt, Clint Eastwood, and a dozen other big names at the dinner table with me and the only thing I'm going to think about is 'there better be plenty of mashed potato's left when the pot comes my way'. ;)

    90 Bowler PBA League

    Tuesday, May 8, 2007, 09:00 PM [General]

Glad to see more interest in Sport bowling. Talk has been bad for years on the integrity issue and this is the kick-start that has been long overdue. Sport bowling has helped but the PBA Experience promotion has really helped. Our league had 90 bowlers enter for 16 4-game weeks. Coming up on week three this Thursday. Been told it's currently the largest sport league in the nation. I hope to see even more for the Fall (31wks) when we get to tweak it a little. I've posted the first weeks results on my site www.kyanabowl.com , first image "current standings". With pre/post bowling I can't get accurate results until the very night of league, so it'll always be a week behind on the site. Three week blocks on each pattern and a vote for week 16. Fall will be six week blocks. Check out the names...might recognize a few.

    Total NV

    Thursday, February 8, 2007, 10:57 PM [General]

I've had my Total NV for about 3 weeks now and have rolled on everything but the heavy oil. This ball is a definite winner. Stroker, tweener, cranker....it doesn't matter. This ball is a winner in anyone's bag. I gave up on Ebonite, then tried The One, then gave up again. Tested the ball in OH and have no regrets on picking one up. My average speed is 16.5 with my Passion or Black Widow. Noticed it dropped to about 14 with the NV. This ball flat out revs! OOB finish easily has 6-8 more boards than the others and they say taking the finish down can nearly double the OOB coverage. Layout was the Tommy Jones pattern. Synthetics from gutter to gutter, another syn playing 15-8, naturals straight up the 5. All with great revs in the mids and strong finishes. Once the heads start to fade I could take a little hand out of it and loft a couple of feet and still not move my feet. Extremely versitile...plain and simple. Would place this ball above my past favs: Absolute Inferno, Smokin' Inferno, Vertigo, Super Power, Ultimate Inferno, Agent, plus the two mentioned above. I wouldn't hype a ball unless it was worth it...and this one is. Plan to drill up a second one to go longer. If this info doesn't convince you then keep in mind that Couch and Allen have made the Total NV appear on TV in the last 3 of 3 weeks!

I haven't bowled since league ended. If you want to come back to Lyndon, I think we need a bowler.
